    About us
The "last tram restoration project" aims to restore Glasgow Coronation Tram, No. 1245 built in 1939.

The tram was removed from passenger service in 1962. It was then used to shunt trams which were to be scrapped until 1963, when 1245 pulled 1274 into Coplawhill Works (now the Tramway Theatre in Albert Drive) and shunted itself and 1274 back into a lye of the Coplawhill Erecting Shop.
